Position Overview

We are hiring a dedicated Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves hands-on work with industrial automation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and Inverter (VFD) systems.

The candidate will support automation projects across various industries — performing installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and commissioning tasks.

Scope of Work

  • Install, wire, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and inverter systems
  • Handle PLC & HMI programming for automation projects
  • Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and support
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and control schematics
  • Document technical work, project progress, and reports
  • Collaborate with project engineers and support teams

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in automation or control systems (fresh graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply)
  • Familiar with PLC programming (e.g., Ladder Logic) and HMI configuration
  • Knowledge of inverter (VFD) setup and troubleshooting
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) – essential for working with technical documents and Chinese-speaking clients
  • Able to travel for on-site work (including outstation)
  • Possess own transport (advantage)
  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
