Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve corporate sales targets.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Set individual and team sales goals in alignment with business objectives.
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and supervise sales team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Identify customer needs and provide suitable product or service solutions.
Handle high-level client interactions and negotiations.
Sales Operations & Reporting
Track and report on sales performance metrics (e.g., pipeline, conversion rate, revenue).
- Forecast sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
Collaboration & Communication
Coordinate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align efforts.
- Represent the sales team in cross-departmental meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Provide feedback on market intelligence and customer needs.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and legal regulations.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and ethical behavior.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets
- Customer acquisition and retention rates
- Sales conversion rate
- Revenue growth by region or product
- Team performance and productivity metrics
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
