Operations Support Lead

The role of Operations Support Lead is responsible in coordination and delivery of primary operational support services in multiple disciplines across all teams within Liberty's Processing Services Team (PST). The role will also be responsible in majority of coordination work where multiple business units are involved.

Key Responsibilities?
- Manage and oversee projects/initiatives PST are involved in, including ensuring PST has the right level of capacity and involvement across said projects, including escalation to PST management where issues are identified
- To support the preparation and implementation of PST strategies across all teams, when necessary
- Serve as a central point of coordination where consistency and alignment are required across multiple business units in different geographies
- Coordinate cross-functional issues resolution and monitor recurring challenges to implement preventive measures
- Coordinate with all teams within PST and consolidate data for planning purposes
- Review and ensure information submitted for planning purposes has the right level of details alongside justifications if required. This includes ensuring the data provided is accurate and complete
- Working with HR & PST Managers on training plans for the broader PST group and scheduling as necessary (including if it's specific to certain PST groups)
- Oversight of internal audit action items and ensure completion ahead of stipulated timeline or escalating any delays as appropriate
- Assisting PST teams to prepare tasks to be onboarded into QA framework and to ensure minimal impact to PST teams by working closely with the QA team
- Organising and driving PST inductions for new joiners
- Conduit for other support functions such as IT, Admin, Procurement and etc.
- Demonstrate behavior at all times in line with the Liberty Mutual core values.
- Ensure compliance with all Liberty Mutual and Liberty Specialty Markets legal, statutory and corporate affairs requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
About You
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple geographies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High level of prioritisation and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Very Sound relationship building skills & customer service – primarily internal
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Operations roles, preferably spanning across more than 1 function
- Experience in insurance industry is preferable but not mandatory
- Strong working knowledge of PC based systems and applications such as Outlook,Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems for managing contacts, schedules and calendars is required.
- Tertiary qualifications in any discipline would be desirable.
