We are a steel building material supplier looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving the company's sales initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and marketing to lead our team towards achieving our growth targets.
The Sales and Marketing manager is responsible in expanding the customer pool and revenue growth in the assigned areas. He / She is responsible for achieving sales targets by executing sales plans to increase market share through developing new markets / customers and retain existing customers. Managing the day-to-day of overall Sales & Marketing team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Sales Strategy and Execution
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve goals set by company.
• Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales target.
• Monitoring the performance KPI of the sales team and motivating its members to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Managing, training and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
Business Development
• Drive sales growth to achieve revenue, and profitability.
• Pinpoint high-growth customers, ensure a smooth onboarding process and actively work together to boost incremental revenue.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Studying current market trends on products, gathering feedback from customers and market to enhance the products quality and branding image and sharing the findings with the internal teams and top management.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners and stakeholders.
• Address customers, partner inquiries, concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and present proposals and presentations to potential customer.
• To perform any ad-hoc task as and when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma/Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5yrs of experience in sales and business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable, well-groomed, energetic and professional with high standards of integrity.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented and passionate about sales with a quick-thinking mindset.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with mandarin speaking customers.
• Possess a personal mode of transportation.
Specialist Knowledge (work experience, further qualifications):
• Minimum 5yrs and above of operational work experience
• Internet savvy and able to use Microsoft Office efficiently and effectively
• Good knowledge- Strong understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and business development principles.
• Communications skills- Ability to comfortably communicate with team members in all levels of the organization while observing the confidentiality requirement within the organization. Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin.
• Adaptability- ability to work independently and multi-task.
