Penang, Malaysia Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn. Bhd. Full time 40,000 - 60,000 per year

Making sales calls to high-street customers in workshop, spare-parts & reseller channels. Build key distributor within the assign territory.

Plan sales calls to achieve sales & collection targets and grow new accounts.

  1. Handle both direct and indirect customer channels:

a) Make regular sales calls

b) Provide monthly sales forecasts and sell-out analysis

c) Upsell and promote the full range of SKUs

d) Ensure timely payment and collection within the standard credit terms
2. Possess 2–3 years of sales experience in independent workshops, tyre workshops, spare parts, resellers, and handling distributors (B2C).
3. Develop new sales volume within the existing portfolio and expand new accounts through active prospecting.
4. Possess fundamental knowledge of lubricants and basic product knowledge through in-house training provided.
5. Participate in sales-related departmental activities:

a) Submit monthly sales reports

b) Provide weekly updates on customer sales calls

c) Participate in monthly sales meetings and quarterly sales reviews

d) Attend monthly distributor sales meetings

e) Take part in assigned sales projects
6. Provide market intelligence feedback by gathering information on pricing, products, competitor activities, market trends, etc.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in related fields.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Preference for candidates with experience from related Sales industry – Lubricants business/automotive spare-parts/chemical (at least 3 years' experience in handling independent car workshop, spare-parts or oil dealers).
  • Active and aggressive in opening new customers by prospecting.
  • Able to speak & write in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to use MS Office, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Presentable and Possess own transport.
