Join Our Team – Keep Our Homestays & Marketing Team Running Smoothly and Efficiently

WK Consortium Sdn Bhd is looking for a hands-on, reliable, and practical individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our homestay units, while also supporting basic guest services and marketing tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, problem-solving, and working independently to keep facilities in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Homestay Operations Management

  • Source and obtain quotations from multiple suppliers or service providers for any required repair works, supply orders, or maintenance tasks.
  • Perform cost and value comparison to identify the most cost-effective and reliable option for each need.
  • To liaise and coordinate with Homestay Maintenance Officer to ensure timely and effective resolution of any property defects, and to resolve customer complaints efficiently.
  • To coordinate routine inspections by the Homestay Maintenance Officer to ensure units are clean, functional, and guest-ready
  • Handle complaints or reports of malfunction promptly
  • Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities, purchases, supplier invoices, and receipts
  • Prepare and submit supporting documents for payment processing and internal audits.
  • To look for contractors / repair men for any technical issues.

2. Guest Support & Operations

  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes
  • Ensure unit cleanliness and readiness before and after each stay
  • Be the point of contact for basic guest inquiries during their stay
  • Monitor booking platforms and report on booking status
  • Ensure accurate guest records and timely communication to prevent any booking overlaps or miscommunication.
  • Address complaints or service disruptions professionally and resolve them promptly to ensure high guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that cleaners are updated when guests check out so that all units are cleaned for the next guest.

3. Marketing Admin Support

  • To assist with petty cash claims
  • To assist with the submission of Sales' Team OT claims
  • To assist with marketing payment requisition processes
  • To monitor and assist digital marketing team in the timely posting of social media posts

Key Requirements

  • Able to communicate in English & Malay (bonus if able to speak Mandarin)
  • Reliable, and able to work independently
  • Willing to conduct customer service via WhatsApp when needed (including weekends, based on check-ins)
  • Basic experience in digital marketing, photography, videography & graphic design is desirable but not necessary
  • Good work attitude & able to handle criticism
  • Positive & charismatic personality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
