  • At least Degree in Insurance/Risk Management/Business Administration/ or any relevant qualification and/or A professional certificate from the Malaysian Insurance Institute – at least Associateship of Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) level or any relevant qualification.
  • At least 1 year working experience particularly from insurance broking/claims portfolio.
  • High degree of competency with standard software, especially Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Good coordination and department administration skills.
  • Reliable and proactive in handling tasks assigned.
  • Strong sense of commitment, teamwork and good interpersonal skills
  • Able to interact with people at all levels.
  • Good at problem solving.

Insurance Management

  • Prepare all documentations and information related to claim enquiries from various department/units for renewal insurance program.
  • Execute the review and preparation of insurance coverage program to safeguard company assets and liability risk exposures.
  • Liaise with insurance brokers for insurance renewal exercise including providing all documentations and information to ensure the company optimize the insurance program and achieved potential premium savings.
  • Liaise with respective departments to resolve insurance issues and expedite claims requirement and ensure that problems highlighted are resolved effectively and promptly through the established departmental processes and procedures.
  • Review insurance claims report/data regularly, analyse and identify the scope of coverage and check the adequacy of policy coverage to improve the claim ratio effectively.
  • Follow-up with Insurance Brokers/Insurers on policy documents, notification of any discrepancies and follow-up on their policy endorsement.
  • Review the quotations to ensure premium quotations and policy of insurance are accurate and complete.

Third-Party Claim Recovery

  • Initiate and follow-up for recovery from Claim Consultant/Third-Party after issuance of Claim Management Services (CMS) process.
  • Collate, provide supporting information and relevant documentation to pursue recovery from Third-Party Insurers.
  • Work closely with the appointed consultant in the preparation of receipting for offer payment received from Third-Party Insurers to ensure recovery
  • Assist in performing the reconciliation of the recovery statement upon payment received from Third-Party Insurers.
  • Follow up and monitor the ageing of claim recovery cases from Claim Consultants/Third-Party Insurers
  • Provide the input for the preparation of monthly/quarterly report on the claim recoveries to ensure timely submission

Ad-Hoc Task

  • Support the HOU/HOD in exploring/developing products, initiatives or opportunity with other Department to achieve the company goals in generating revenue.
  • Support the HOU/HOD in managing and fostering a relationship with Insurers, Reinsurers and Regulators.
  • Undertake assignment/tasks as instructed by the immediate supervisor, HOD & Management ensure insurance adequacy for the Company.
