Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage post-contract administration including progress claim verification, variation order assessment, and final account preparation.
  • Review, assess, and certify contractors' claims, interim payments, and project costs.
  • Prepare cost reports and cash flow forecasts to monitor project budget performance (monthly variance report).
  • Evaluate and negotiate variation orders and potential contractual claims.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve cost or contractual issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with contract terms and procurement policies (non-compliance report).
  • Provide value engineering input and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout project execution.
  • Perform any other job-related tasks or projects as assigned by the company from time to time.

Qualification (Education and/or Work Experience Requirements):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in post-contract works within property development, consultancy, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration (preferably PAM or PWD forms).
  • Good understanding of construction methodologies, cost control, and procurement procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, and QS measurement software (e.g., CostX, Cubicost).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use development projects is preferred.
  • Familiar with local authority requirements and contract law.
