About the role

Mewah Group is seeking an experienced Executive, QA to join our Quality Assurance team in our Port Klang, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety across our food technology and manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to meet food safety and regulatory requirements
  2. Conducting regular audits and inspections of production facilities, equipment, and processes to identify and resolve quality issues
  3. Analysing quality data and generating reports to track Key Performance Indicators and drive continuous improvement
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve customer complaints and product quality concerns
  5. Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality assurance best practices
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in food safety regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or food safety role within the food manufacturing industry
  3. Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality management systems
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  5. Proficient in using quality control tools and data analysis software
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
