  1. Monitor container movements and track the progress of import shipments to ensure timely delivery.

  2. Coordinate with shipping lines, carriers, and port authorities to gather accurate and up-to-date information on container status.

  3. Review and analyze shipping documentation to identify demurrage and detention charges.

  4. Inform customers and the haulage team in advance about upcoming container arrivals, providing pre-alerts to ensure smooth operations.

  5. Plan and coordinate the delivery of containers to customers, taking into account their requirements and ensuring timely delivery.

  6. Update customers regularly on the progress of their shipments, providing accurate and timely information.

  7. Investigate and verify the reasons behind any additional costs incurred due to storage and demurrage charges.

  8. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to resolve any issues related to container movements and additional costs.

  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to container monitoring, demurrage, and detention charges.

  10. This position requires the ability to monitor container movements after office hours and on weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
