Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kulim District for a
Procurement Specialist
. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, including managing purchase orders, evaluating and negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth and timely material flow. The Procurement Specialist will also analyze procurement data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational requirements and deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Procure raw materials on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor material usage, order changes, and inventory levels in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of purchased items.
  • Reduce procurement lead times through local sourcing.
  • Coordinate and communicate with various departments.
  • Conduct annual supplier management, evaluation, and audits.
  • Test and implement new suppliers, alternative materials, or new materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with SAP systems.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, QC 080000, etc.
  • High integrity, strong execution skills, sense of responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field at least one year of work experience, proficient in Chinese, Malay, and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with SAP systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
  • Experience in managing Purchase Orders and Procurement
