Factory Operations Manager

Company Background:
Our client is the leading supplier of seafood and frozen foods. Their headquarter is situated in Johor Bahru (JB), Malaysia. The company carry a broad line of national brands and continuously analyse trends and conditions to identify the best purchase values.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily factory operations, including production, logistics, and quality control.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety regulations.
- Oversee workforce management, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw material availability.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
- Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely production and delivery based on market demand.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety compliance and quality assurance.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
