  • Handle day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and following up with suppliers.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of materials according to the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, and source for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier databases.
  • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure smooth coordination on material requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and ISO standards.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and coordinate with the store or production team for replenishment needs.
  • Support in preparing purchasing reports and documentation for management review.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in purchasing or procurement (manufacturing background preferred).
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders).
  • Must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
