Job Descriptions
- Responsible and reliable, able to work independently and meet deadline
- Establish and maintain good relationship with vendor and suppliers
- To ensure complete documentation is received from vendors and suppliers for payment processing
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals
- Monitor supplier performances to ensure timely deliveries and specification of product ordered
- Work with inter-departments for supporting new requirements
- Communicate and work with multi-functional team effectively to ensure smooth execution of duties and timely resolution of issues.
- Work with production team for the machine consumable / spare part replenishment and inventory control.
- Work with utilities/maintenance team for the yearly service arrangement with contractor
- Discuss defective goods with vendors to determine source of trouble and take corrective action
- Review acknowledgments for agreement with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with the supplier or buyers
- End-to-end responsible to ensure deliverable
- To process Purchase Requisition from various department.
- To prepare the necessary Purchase Order for placement of order
- To track and ensure timely delivery of goods or services ordered
- To resolve quality, supply, service and invoicing issues with vendors
- To maintain update and systematic records of all purchasing activities
- To support and contribute to the implementation of ISO14001 and ISO 45001 requirements
- To ensure that significant suppliers are communicated with in-house safety, health and environmental requirements
- To control and track budget spending by respective departments.
- Any other duties as may be instructed by the Management from time to time
- Prepare monthly purchase costing report
Required Qualification
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Business Administration & Procurement or equivalent
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate and work as a team
