The Opportunity

Suria Jerai Electrical Sdn Bhd, a leading electrical appliances retailer, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced branch manager/assistant manager to join our team in Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Branches : Tanjung Tokong, Farlim, Prai, Alma, Kulim,

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and budget control.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  4. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching and training as needed.
  5. Analyze store performance data and develop plans to improve efficiency and profitability.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  7. Collaborate with the management team to achieve overall business objectives.

What We're Looking For

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in the electrical appliances or consumer electronics industry.
  2. Speaking Mandarin or another dialect is an advantage.
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  4. Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  5. Familiarity with local market trends and consumer preferences.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers and team members.
  7. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  8. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
