About the role

We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Site Manager to join our dedicated team at Duragate Engineering & Services Sdn Bhd. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex scaffolding projects at our construction sites in Bintulu, Sarawak. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency and quality of our scaffolding installations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of scaffolding operations, including planning, set-up, maintenance and dismantling
  2. Oversee a team of skilled scaffolders, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and in line with safety regulations
  3. Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver successful outcomes
  4. Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks and site inspections to promote a safe working environment
  5. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on key performance metrics
  6. Contribute to the continual improvement of our scaffolding systems and processes

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or Site Manager in the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of scaffolding regulations, standards and best practices
  3. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  5. Proven track record of delivering complex scaffolding projects on time and within budget
  6. Relevant qualifications in scaffolding, construction or a related field
