This role is an excellent position to potentially step into a managerial purview. Reporting directly to the Group HRBP, main scope of responsibilities include :-

  • Talent Acquisition:
    Execute end-to-end recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offer negotiation) for assigned departments.
  • HR Administration:
    Manage the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure
    accurate and confidential
    maintenance of employee records, contracts, and P-Files.
  • Payroll Administration:
    Assist with monthly
    payroll processing
    by collating and verifying data (attendance, leave, OT, claims) for submission.
  • Employee Relations (ER):
    Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and policy clarifications.
  • Performance Management:
    Coordinate and administer the annual/bi-annual performance appraisal cycles and maintain performance records.
  • Policy & Compliance:
    Assist in the review and implementation of HR policies and ensure consistent adherence to Malaysian labour laws.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare periodic HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, cost-per-hire) and assist the HR Manager on special projects.

Aside from the below key requirements, most importantly is attitude and the ability to grow aligned with the expansion of the company (first in Malaysia, and then regional):-

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum
    3 to 5 years
    of progressive experience in an HR Generalist capacity
  • Position level and banding will be accorded based on overall years and scope of experience
  • Proficiency in related Malaysian employment regulations / statutory requirements
  • Excellent
    communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution
    skills
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with
    confidentiality
