About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Case Coordinating Doctor to join our Medical Assistance Team. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and 24/7 operational environment. Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Medical Director, you will:

  • Provide medical advice and support to clients, members, and affiliates.
  • Guide and oversee the clinical aspects of patient transfers, including medical evacuations and repatriations, in coordination with the Operations team.
  • Perform medical evaluations during hospitalizations or emergencies to assess fitness for transport.
  • Monitor active cases, providing regular reviews and recommendations.
  • Serve as medical escort for evacuation/repatriation cases when required.
  • Coordinate and obtain medical clearances for air or other forms of transport.
  • Provide telemedical consultations and medical referrals as needed.
  • Review and provide opinions on diagnostic tests, treatments, and medications recommended by attending physicians.
  • Liaise directly with referring or attending physicians to ensure continuity of care.
  • Support networking audits of hospitals, medical facilities, and air ambulance providers.
  • Participate in health talks, training sessions, and internal staff education on medical coordination.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and utilization review processes to maintain service excellence.
  • Remain on-call 24/7 to provide clinical guidance to the Operations team.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the Company.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD/MBBS) with a valid license to practice.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in travel and medical assistance or the insurance industry (mandatory).
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, 24/7 environment.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM14,000.00 per month
