About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-centric
Senior/Executive, Business Development
to join our growing employee benefits team in Singapore.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of key insurer and broker partners, serve as the main point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and proactive engagement. You will play a vital role in driving revenue growth, client retention, and identifying new corporate healthcare solutions business opportunities within your assigned portfolio.

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and reports directly to the Manager, Business Development
A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
Relationship Management Support
- Assist the BDM in building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned insurer and broker accounts.
- Support client engagement by preparing meeting materials and client decks, tracking follow-ups, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely responses.
- Help manage client escalations by gathering details, liaising with relevant teams, and ensuring issues are resolved promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
Account Growth & Retention Support
- Provide research and insights to help identify new business opportunities within existing insurer and broker accounts.
- Support cross-selling initiatives by coordinating proposals and ensuring accurate information on Doctor Anywhere's suite of solutions (e.g., screenings, vaccinations, wellness programs).
- Assist in contract renewal preparations, including compiling performance data, conducting basic analysis of data, and drafting supporting documents for negotiations.
- Track account performance metrics, maintain dashboards/reports, and highlight key trends or risks
Operational Excellence Support
- Coordinate monthly SLA review materials and follow up on action items with internal teams.
- Support the organization of clients' quarterly review, including agenda preparation, data consolidation, and documentation of agreed objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, product, technology, finance) to ensure smooth execution of client deliverables.
- Assist in payment collection processes by monitoring outstanding invoices and facilitating communication between finance teams and partners.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree with 2–3 years' account management experience, ideally in insurance, healthcare, or employee benefits.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in business development are welcome.
- Proactive, results-driven, and committed to delivering excellent pre- and post-sales service.
- Knowledge of the insurance brokerage landscape
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; able to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and data analysis.
- Self-motivated team player with a start-up mindset, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Proficient in Tableau or similar data visualization tools, as well as presentation platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) for reporting and insights
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we're not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
