Job Summary

The Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the university's academic and administrative operations. This role supports both faculty and non-academic functions by coordinating student services, managing administrative tasks, overseeing facilities, and assisting with compliance to regulatory standards.

The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise effectively with students, academic staff, external stakeholders, and government agencies. The Operations Executive plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence, supporting quality education delivery, and contributing to the overall student and staff experience within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day campus operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Monitor classroom, lab, and office space usage to optimise allocation.
  • Liaise with facilities management for maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate procurement of office supplies, equipment, and teaching resources.
  • Ensure IT systems and learning facilities are functional and supported.
  • Coordinate university events (seminars, conferences, workshops, student activities).
  • Liaise with external stakeholders (MOHE, industry partners, accrediting bodies).
  • Support marketing and student recruitment initiatives (open days, career fairs).

Requirement:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of operations experience, preferably in an education/academic institution.
  • Experience in student services, campus operations, or facilities management will be highly valued.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities (students, staff, regulators).
  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace; knowledge of student information systems is an advantage.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with higher education policies and accreditation standards (MQA/MOHE).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
