About One People Team (OPT)

One People Team (OPT) is a bespoke HR advisory and leadership training company that partners with businesses to help them grow through their people.

OPT has two business pillars:

  1. OPT Advisory: strategic HR business partnering
  2. OPT Academy: leadership development, workshops, coaching, and learning programs

We work closely with startups, scale-ups, and family-owned businesses across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Our clients come to us not just for advice, but for real partnership. We care about their growth like it's our own.

At OPT, we don't do checklist HR. We believe in honest conversations, bold strategies, and building strong, healthy teams that drive real business outcomes.

The Role: Learning & Growth Intern (OPT Academy)

You'll be working closely with the Managing Partner and Learning & Growth Partner to support the expansion of OPT Academy. This is not your usual internship. You'll help with everything from research and content development to experience design and partnership building.

What You'll Be Doing

Research content related to leadership, team dynamics, people growth, and learning

Support the design and creation of workshop materials and facilitation tools

Help build a database of workshop and team building venues across Malaysia and SEA

Reach out to potential venue and activity partners for collaboration opportunities

Assist in workshop prep, coordination, and ensuring participants have a meaningful experience

Support live sessions and work closely with facilitators and clients

Support and contribute to any additional projects or initiatives that are critical to the company's success and strategic goals

Who You Are

A curious learner who loves to explore how people think, lead, and grow

Super organised and can juggle multiple tasks with grace

Great with PowerPoint and visual storytelling

Comfortable with reaching out to people and building partnerships

Interested in learning about content creation, facilitation, and the learning industry

Reliable, trustworthy, and excited to be part of a purpose-driven team
