About the role
We are seeking a talented Malaysian Commis Chef 1 to join our team in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity to take your culinary career to new heights.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in preparing and cooking Indonesian cuisine according to recipes and standards given.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Support senior chefs during service and catering events.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in Indonesian or Malay cuisine is required.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends.
