We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated Production Engineer to strengthen our team. This role requires a strong technical background and hands-on experience in process improvement, production planning, and quality control to ensure efficient operations and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
  • Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to optimize workflow.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure proper machine performance and reduce breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot technical or process-related issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
  • Support new product introductions, tooling setup, and process validation activities.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet customer and industry standards.
  • Prepare production performance reports and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to production operators and technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 4–10 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a strong advantage.

  • Position level and responsibilities will be based on experience and expertise.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Based at Shah Alam or Bukit Beruntung manufacturing plant.
  • May require occasional shift work or overtime depending on production needs.
