Job Description

1.Leadership role

-Lead, coach, and develop a high -performing sales team to achieve growth objectives.

-Define and execute sales strategies that align with the company's goals and market opportunities.

-Set and manage sales targets, forecasting and performance metrics.

2.Revenue and Managing Sales Operations

-Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships.

-Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and maximize performance.

-Analyze sales data to forecast revenue, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.

-Define and communicate product vision aligned with business objectives and go-to market strategy.

3.Customer and market insight

-Champion user-centric design and data-driven decision making.

-Monitor product performance and iterate based on KPIs and feedback.

-Build and maintain relationships with key clients ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

4.Cross- Functional Collaboration

-Collaborate closely with the direct sales team to ensure a coordinated go-to-market approach and prevent channel conflict.

-Liaise with Marketing to develop partner-specific programs and enablement materials.

-Work with Product and Finance teams to manage partner pricing, margins, and deal registration.

-Create and implement detailed roll-out plans for new products and features.

5.Reporting and Analytics

-Regularly report on sales performance, including sales metrics, revenue growth, and sales forecasts.

-Use data and analytics to track the effectiveness of sales strategies and provide actionable insights.

-Organize weekly/monthly sales meeting with the sales team and update sales progress.

-Conduct periodic sales update presentations to top management and update the progress of sales versus annual sales plans.

Requirements

Qualification in Education and Language proficiency

-Degree, knowledge and experience in the food industry or related

-Spoken language: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (Preferred)

-Written: English and Bahasa Malaysia

Experience Requirements

-Experience: In sales and preferably in the food and FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry

-Min years of experience: 10 years++ in related sales and leading a team

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

-Knowledge: in similar industry and products

-Skills: Sales strategies and people management

-Competencies: -Able to work in a fast-paced environment, dynamic and motivated personality

-Positive attitude and a team player, but with the ability to work independently

Abilities

-To drive and travel to outstations
