Just English is seeking a dynamic Programme Coordinator to lead our English Language Centre located within an international school in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified TESOL professional with strong leadership and management skills to guide a team of teachers, oversee academic quality, and contribute to the growth of a well-established English program in an international setting.

Role Overview

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the academic management and daily operations of the English Language Centre. You will lead a team of teachers, collaborate with school administrators, and ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality English programs that align with Just English standards and student needs. This role combines academic leadership, teacher development, and program management, ideal for someone passionate about education and ready to make an impact while experiencing life in beautiful Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor a team of English teachers to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  • Conduct classroom observations, feedback sessions, and professional development workshops.
  • Oversee placement testing, student assessment, and academic record keeping.
  • Maintain academic excellence through curriculum implementation and innovation.

Programme & Operations Management

  • Coordinate class timetables, teacher allocations, and resource planning.
  • Liaise with school management to align academic goals and operational needs.
  • Ensure reports, attendance records, and assessment results are accurately maintained.
  • Implement updates to curriculum and teaching practices as directed by Just English headquarters.

Teacher and Student Support

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to teachers on classroom management and instructional quality.
  • Monitor student progress and satisfaction, addressing concerns proactively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the Centre.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or English preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with equivalent teaching and leadership experience considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of ESL/EFL teaching experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in an academic management or coordination role.
  • Familiarity with CEFR, Cambridge, IELTS, and TOEFL programs.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and manage a team of teachers.
  • Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in an international setting.
  • Skilled in using educational and productivity software.
