Accounts Manager

Location : HM GROUP (Bandar Baru Bangi/ Tmn Medan Pj/ Sg.Chua)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager to manage the company's full set of accounts and financial operations. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Management

  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor daily cash flow and ensure financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
  • Review staff claims, petty cash, and departmental expenses for accuracy and compliance.
  • Control and monitor cost efficiency within the organization.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Provide coaching and training on accounting procedures and systems.
  • Conduct regular meetings with management to review financial performance.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.

3. Policy & Compliance

  • Develop and implement effective accounting policies and internal control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Support management in financial planning, decision-making, and audit preparation

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar position (retail ).
  • Proficient in accounting software such as SQL
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
