The Procurement Assistant (Civil) supports the sourcing and purchasing of civil construction materials by researching suppliers, comparing prices and quality, and ensuring the company secures the best value. The role involves obtaining quotations, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring deliveries, maintaining updated purchasing records, and assisting project teams with material requirements for construction sites. Close coordination with suppliers, project managers/engineers, and the admin team is required to ensure smooth and compliant procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate civil materials and potential suppliers.
  • Request and compile quotations; strategize and negotiate for the best deals.
  • Identify and source new suppliers when needed.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor delivery timelines and verify material quantity and quality.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of purchases.
  • Assist project teams with material procurement for construction projects.
  • Work with Admin to prepare purchase orders.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher Diploma in Civil or SPM equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (2+ years overall experience is an advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, planning, and adaptability skills.
  • Dedicated, responsible, and able to start immediately.
  • Full-time role based at the Head Office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
