Consulting Sales Engineer

What you'll be doing

• Promoting and offering consultancy services with HITOP Electric Actuators and Pneumatic product related to Automation, Material Handling, Pick & Place, Quality assurance/Quality control, Production Engineering, Research and Development field in various manufacturing industries.
• Working in full sales cycle: discover, develop, propose, negotiate, and closing
• Actively promoting our products over the phone to qualify customers before appointments.
• Visiting potential customers and performing product demonstration to end user directly.
• Through asking to fully understand customers' requirements and needs on application testing, proving our solution and persuading customer to purchase our products.
• Managing certain product-line sales in the assigned territory.
• Reviewing and analyzing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets sustainably.

• Attending team meeting and training session with colleagues to improve sales skill & technical knowledge on product applications.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

• Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction
• Continuously expand your product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in ANY background, preferably Engineering background
• Required Language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
• Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team
• Min 1 year of engineering sales experience required. Fresh Graduates are very welcome to apply
• Candidates need to have own vehicle
• Prefer candidates who can start work in January 2026
• Able to work physically in our Penang office

• Passionate and willing to learn, prefer fast learner who can carry out instruction quickly in the study of equipment manufacturing and automation industry.
• Aggressive and hardworking.
• Self-starter with initiative, drive and strong desire to succeed
• Good interpersonal skills, task oriented and target conscious
• Good presentation and communication skill
• Enjoy frequent travelling (around 3 days per week) within Malaysia
• Enjoy communicating with different level of people in a wide variety of manufacturing environments
