Team Lead (Accounting RTR)

In this role, you will be leading a team of RTR members to accomplish the allocated tasks. Budget, cashflow and other corporate reporting, month end close activities, fixed assets capitalization and maintenance, balance sheet and fixed assets reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Record to Report (R2R) team through month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring smooth execution and timely closure of books.
• Ensure all month end activities are completed within agreed time and of the highest quality and ensure Service Levels are met.
• Ensure ownership for all application Sox and Operational controls as well as broader oversight of all controls that influence the Financial Statements
• Engage with External/Internal Audit to ensure full ownership and excellence in all Group/Statutory/Internal/Regulatory audits
• Prepare and manage monthly trial balance package for assigned affiliate.
• Perform quality reviews, root cause analysis and suggest process improvements to resolve issues.
• Prepare and approve appropriate reconciliations and supporting documentation based on type of accounts being reconciled.Drive for results and ensure best practices are in place to achieve highest standards within daily operations
• Monitor and report end-to-end process metrics and KPIs to measure service levels, operational effectiveness, process health and process compliance
• Balance aligned Sub-Processes (as applicable).

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• 6-8 years of relevant experience, including the responsibilities listed above.
• Chartered Accountant with a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• ACCA certified or relevant professional accounting certs
• Must have the ability to lead teams and is responsible for delivering productivity, and controlling quality of services delivered.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with the controllers and auditors - internal and external
