About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at COURTYARD HOTEL MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. as a full-time Sales and Front Office Head based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales and overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel's front office.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to attract new clients and maximise revenue
  • Managing and leading the front office team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Monitoring hotel occupancy and room rates, making adjustments as needed
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Analysing sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Fostering strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients and other key stakeholders
  • Providing training and development to the front office team
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales or front office management role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and data analysis tools
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English and Malay, with additional language skills an advantage
