The Job

  • Responsible for leading and managing the company's purchasing activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, products, and services at the best value.
  • This role oversees supplier management, negotiations, cost control, and procurement strategies to support operational and project requirements.

Responsibility

  • Review purchase requisitions (PRQ) and oversee the issuance and approval of Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure materials are delivered on time.
  • Monitor lead times, delivery schedules, and order fulfilment to avoid project delays.
  • Develop good relationships with suppliers and negotiate for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Track supplier performance using key KPIs such as quality, delivery accuracy, cost, and compliance.
  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to support company operations and projects.
  • Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, price lists, and supplier documents.
  • Work with the Finance team on invoice verification, payment terms, and cost reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and add value.
  • Prepare simple reports on purchasing status, delivery progress, and any issues that need action.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems for better efficiency.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum:
  • Senior Executive: 3–5 years experience in procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, purchasing systems, and ERP software (advantage).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
