e-commerce senior executive

Overview:

We're looking for a results-driven and proactive E-commerce Senior Executive to drive online sales performance, ensuring smooth operations of e-commerce platforms. Optimizing product listings, managing campaigns, and coordinating with internal teams (brand & marketing, online warehouse, creatives, customer service & procurement) to deliver an excellent online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Online Sales & Platform Management

• Manage and execute daily operations across multiple e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, PGMall & brand website).
• Monitor and achieve online sales targets by platform.
• Upload, update and optimize product listings (title, description, images, keywords).
• Maintain accurate product pricing and inventory levels across platforms.
• Monitor competitor activity and recommend pricing or promotional adjustments to inform strategic decisions.

2. Campaign Planning & Execution

• Plan, execute, and monitor monthly and seasonal campaigns.
• Coordinate with the creatives team for banner visuals, copywriting, and other campaign creatives.
• Liaise with platform Key Account Managers (KAMs) for participation in special or mega campaigns such as Double Digit Days, PayDays, and platform-exclusive events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with platform KAMs to secure additional exposure, exclusive benefits, or promotional opportunities that drive sales uplift.
• Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing team to align monthly storewide online campaigns with offline marketing activities for consistent brand messaging.
• Monitor and track campaign performance and provide reports with actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.

3. Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Track, analyse, and optimise key performance metrics such as sales revenue, conversion rate, AOV, return rate, and campaign ROI for all e-commerce platforms.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly e-commerce performance to team lead and management.
• Analyse data to identify opportunities for sales growth and operational improvements.
• Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns (Shopee Ads, Lazada Ads, TikTok Ads) within e-commerce platforms to maximise ROI.
• Prepare monthly sales forecasts and set KPIs based on historical data and seasonal trends.
• Analyse customer behaviour, including purchase patterns, cart abandonment, and repeat purchases, to refine sales and marketing strategies.
• Track and evaluate product listing performance (e.g., click-through rate, add-to-cart rate) and recommend optimisations.

4. Coordination & Fulfilment

• Coordinate with the online warehouse team to ensure order fulfilment meets SLA requirements for each e-commerce platform.
• Monitor stock levels, prevent overselling, and arrange timely replenishment in coordination with procurement and inventory teams.
• Handle customer queries, returns, refunds, exchanges, and service recovery in collaboration with the customer service team.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business, Ecommerce, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in managing and growing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify, SiteGiant etc.).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, tools, and analytics with a data driven mindset.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Creative, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solving and campaign execution.
• Knowledge of AutoCount Accounting Software and SiteGiant Omnichannel System is an added advantage.
• Passion for pets, or prior experience in pet products, FMCG, or retail, is a plus.

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
