About the Role

An Housekeeping Assistant plays a important role in maintaining the hotel's image, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction. You will assist in ensuring that public areas, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role also includes assisting with floral arrangements and decorations to enhance the hotel's ambiance, particularly for public areas and special events. Attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork are essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in daily housekeeping operations to ensure all public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards.
  • Create and maintain floral arrangements and decorations for public areas, guest rooms, and special occasions.
  • Ensure floral displays are fresh, well-presented, and replaced as needed.
  • Support the setup and decoration for meetings, functions, and festive events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and housekeeping supplies.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
  • Monitor inventory of housekeeping and floral supplies to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Uphold hotel standards and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, courteously, and with attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge or interest in floral arrangement and decoration is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Certificate or Diploma in a related field is preferred.
