We're a food and cooking channel on TikTok called @myguudkitchen and need a savvy Social Media Intern to assist in sprinkling some magic on our TikTok presence. Based in Petaling Jaya, this full-time role is perfect for newbies and fresh grads. If you love taking videos and capcut video editing, come join us and get some hands on experience for your CV. Bonus points if you're an extrovert who's not camera shy.

What you'll be doing

  • Content creation - assist in shooting and editing engaging and trend-setting short-form content for TikTok/IG
  • Ideation: Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for TikTok/IG campaigns
  • Account Management: Take direction from marketing to handle the social media accounts content posting, analytics and reporting
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Film, or a related field
  • Familiar with social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Creative Thinking and Originality is a super plus point. Not camera shy. Extrovert personality.
  • Possesses own transportation to work place located in Petaling Jaya (closest LRT is Glenmarie station, 15 mins walk to office).
  • Good command of both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language is an advantage.
