We are seeking a proactive HR & Administration Assistant to manage HR and administrative functions, and support our sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will help create a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Job Description
Human Resources:
- Maintain and update employee personal files, records, and HR databases.
- Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, arranging interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Prepare HR-related letters such as confirmation, warning, promotion, and resignation acceptance.
- Assist in processing monthly payroll, attendance, and leave records.
- Handle staff welfare, benefits, and claims in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Assist in organizing training, company events, and employee engagement activities.
Administration:
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and office amenities requisition.
- Assist in managing office facilities, maintenance, and general upkeep.
- Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and record-keeping.
- Provide general clerical support to ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in HR and/or administration
- Good knowledge of HR practices and Malaysian labour laws will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
