What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities):

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects:

  • Prepare and evaluate tenders: Ensuring competitive bids, accurate price estimations, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ).
  • Lead cost negotiations: Collaborating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve cost-efficient agreements.
  • Manage progress claims and certifications: Overseeing timely progress claims, VO claims, and accurate payment certificates.
  • Evaluate subcontractor claims: Verifying subcontractor submissions for compliance with scopes and budgets.
  • Handle pre- and post-contract works: Managing all aspects of contract initiation and execution effectively.
  • Support government tender processes: Ensuring compliance with government standards and tender procedures.

What do we need from you (Job Requirements):

To thrive in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Diploma/Degree: In Quantity Surveying with strong academic results.
  • Experience: Hands-on knowledge of tender work, price estimation, and BQ evaluation.
  • Skills: Proven negotiation skills and familiarity with progress claims, VO claims, payment certificates, and subcontractor evaluation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Full understanding of pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities.
  • Added Advantage: Prior exposure to tendering for government jobs.
