Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Front Office Assistant at Hotel Royal Kuala Lumpur, located in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Front Office Assistant will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. They will assist guests with inquiries, ensure a smooth and efficient front desk operation, and address any guest needs or concerns to enhance the quality of their stay. Collaboration with other departments and maintaining a high level of professionalism will be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and interpersonal skills to provide a warm and hospitable experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay or additional languages is an advantage
  • Proficiency in using front desk systems, reservation software, and basic computer skills
  • Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guests' inquiries and complaints effectively
  • Previous experience in front office operations or the hospitality industry is an added advantage
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
