Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve company revenue targets. This role involves managing and motivating the sales team, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying new market opportunities to expand the company's market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and profitability.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and business partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure brand consistency and effective promotional strategies.
  • Manage key accounts and resolve any customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company's products/services.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and negotiation of major contracts and agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in [industry, e.g., furniture / manufacturing / FMCG].
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written) — advanced proficiency is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
