Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all purchasing activities including order tracking, delivery scheduling, and status monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records using internal tracking systems.
  • Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Prepare and compile all necessary documentation such as Delivery Orders (DO), Invoices, Purchase Orders (PO), and Purchase Requisitions (PR) for Goods Receipt (GR) entry in the system.
  • Submit complete documentation to the accounts department for timely payment processing.
  • Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Generate and submit monthly purchasing reports to management.
  • Support ad-hoc assignments and tasks as required by the management team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Good command of the English language and Bahasa Malaysia (oral and written). Proficiency in Chinese (written and oral) is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
