Job purpose

To overseeing the daily operations of quarry material handling, ensuring accurate monitoring, documentation, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining material quality, quantity control, and efficient site coordination.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

1) Material Monitoring & Control

a. Supervise the loading, and transportation of quarry materials (sub- ballast and Ballast).

b. Ensure accurate measurement and documentation of material quantities.

c. Conduct regular inspections to verify material quality and compliance with specifications.

2) Site Operations

a. Coordinate with equipment operators, truck drivers, and site workers to maintain workflow.

b. Monitor stockpile levels and manage material inventory.

c. Report discrepancies or issues in material handling to management.

d. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

3) Reporting & Documentation

a. Maintain daily logs of material movement and site activities.

b. Prepare reports on production, material usage, and site conditions.

c. Assist in audits and provide documentation as required.

4) Team Coordination

a. Lead and motivate site personnel to meet production targets.

b. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and logistics teams.

c. Take reasonable care for the Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare as per the Occupational Safety & Health Act, company policy and OSH Management System.

Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience in railway construction with an advantage experience in any KTMB project.
  • Previous PICOW experience in railways projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM5,000.00 per month
