Job Descriptions

  • responsible for material planning & inventory control.
  • ensure Purchase Order (PO) are issued based on lead time.
  • collate purchase requisitions and purchase orders in order to order materials, goods and supplies.
  • follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • ensure that any invoices are sent to HQ / Purchasing department for verification before pass to Accounts department for cheque issue.
  • monitor price increases and communicating changes when necessary.
  • review line points/ order points for inventory stock levels.
  • obtain quotations from vendors / suppliers and negotiate for the best price, best quality and best service to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • maintain and update vendor / supplier list on a timely basis.
  • verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list, clarifying unclear items, recommending alternatives.
  • prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
  • follow up closely to ensure on time deliveries for ordered items to support progress of works.
  • interact with suppliers to solve delivery or quality problems.
  • responsible doing month end stock take.
  • perform any ad hoc and other duties relating to the above as may be assigned by your superior from time to time.

Requirements:

- SPM, O-level & above are preferred

- Good negotiation and communication skills, good commercial sense and analytical skills

- Able to work with min supervision and handle stress, a team player and good time management skills

- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
