Marketing Executive

Purpose of the Role:
To plan, execute, and monitor marketing strategies that promote the company's travel packages, enhance brand visibility, and increase customer engagement and bookings across both domestic and international destinations.
Key Responsibilities:1. Marketing Planning & Strategy
- Assist in developing and implementing annual and monthly marketing plans for travel packages, promotions, and events.
- Conduct market research on travel trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
- Identify potential markets and develop targeted campaigns to attract new travelers.
2. Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow the company's presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Create engaging travel-related content (photos, videos, reels, captions) to promote destinations and deals.
- Run and monitor online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) to generate leads and conversions.
- Handle website updates, SEO, and email newsletters to boost visibility and customer reach.
3. Promotional Campaigns & Partnerships
- Coordinate travel fairs, roadshows, and booth events (e.g., MATTA Fair).
- Develop seasonal promotions and early bird offers to attract customers.
- Build partnerships with hotels, airlines, and tourism boards for joint marketing initiatives.
4. Branding & Collateral
- Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and channels.
- Prepare brochures, flyers, banners, and videos for both online and offline use.
- Work with creative designers, photographers, and videographers to produce professional marketing assets.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Analyze marketing campaign performance (ROI, engagement, inquiries, conversion rates).
- Prepare monthly marketing reports and propose data-driven improvements.
- Monitor competitor activities and market positioning.
6. Teamwork & Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to align marketing strategies with sales targets.
- Support the tour team with promotional materials for upcoming packages or new destinations.
- Provide assistance during on-ground marketing events and client engagement activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Tourism, Mass Communication, or related field.
- 1–3 years of marketing experience, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of social media trends and digital advertising tools.
- Creative storytelling skills with a passion for travel and destinations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
- Willing to travel occasionally for work or marketing events.
