Purpose of the Role

As an HR Intern at The Fame, you will support the HR team with day-to-day operations, recruitment, onboarding, documentation and employee engagement. You'll gain first-hand experience across multiple HR functions and contribute to enhancing the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment & selection: posting job adverts, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, following up with candidates.
  • Support onboarding activities: preparing new hire documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, setting up employee files.
  • Maintain HR records and databases: update employee information, track headcount, monitor leave/attendance, ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide general HR administrative support: filing, scanning, correspondence, preparing reports/presentations.
  • Assist with internal communications and employee-engagement events: help organize team/building events, prepare communications, support employee welfare initiatives.
  • Participate in special HR projects as assigned (e.g., employer branding, process improvement, training logistics).
  • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and data protection guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's (or Diploma) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Good communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
