1. Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team while promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all activities follow internal EHS and local safety regulations.
2. Maintenance & Reliability
  • Oversee and improve PM/PdM programs to boost equipment reliability and production uptime.
  • Reduce unplanned downtime, lead RCA, and resolve complex can-making equipment issues.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and support Production in daily troubleshooting.
3. Project Management & CAPEX
  • Lead capital projects, including equipment upgrades, new tooling, and replacement of obsolete systems.
  • Define project scope, budget, and timelines; oversee installation, commissioning, and contractor management.
  • Support sustainability initiatives such as energy reduction and material efficiency.
4. Process Improvement
  • Implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality teams to optimize processes and maintain food-grade standards.
5. Compliance, Safety & Quality
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO, HACCP).
  • Act as the technical expert for 2-piece aluminium can manufacturing and support regional technical teams.
  • Assist with internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong background in metal packaging or aluminium forming, especially 2-piece can equipment.
  • Proficient in maintenance best practices, CMMS, PLC, SCADA, and high-speed automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
