Job Description:

  • Understand architectural construction drawings, shop drawings and specifications, and cross check with C&S, M&E, interior design and landscape drawings.
  • Ensure architectural works are executed according to construction drawings, specifications, quality standards (QLASSIC and company set quality standards), approved shop drawings, approved method statements, and approved materials.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Inspector of Work, Works Contractor, and team members.
  • Monitor and push for site progress, and highlight any technical issues related to architectural details. Stop any wrong doing architectural works and get the contractor to rectify the error immediately.
  • Attend site meetings, technical meetings, and subcontractor meetings related to architectural matters.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, inspection forms, site memo, NCR, reports, etc.
  • Assist in inspections and handover processes, identify defects, and coordinate with the Works Contractor to rectify the defects.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in Architecture, Architectural Studies, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in architectural works, preferably in property development, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Good understanding of Malaysian building code UBBL is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, and other architectural design software; knowledge of BIM coordination is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent in communication, problem-solving, and possesses good organizational skills.
  • Hard working, self-disciplined, punctual, with good integrity.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
