Costing Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Costing Administrative Assistant to join our Finance & Accounts team. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's costing and inventory functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance in all reporting matters.

The successful candidate will work closely within Accounts department and other supporting department in managing costing, inventory valuation, and vendor-related transactions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of cost evaluations for raw materials.
  • Coordinate and monitor monthly stock count activities to ensure accurate inventory control.
  • Support monthly costing processes across various departments and entities.
  • Perform inventory valuation for financial reporting and audit purposes.
  • Liaise with external parties such as tax agents, auditors, and company secretaries.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax compliance.
  • Assist in financial forecasting, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc financial projects.
  • Maintain and update accounting transaction records for assigned business entities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferably 2–3 years of working experience in material costing or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in general accounting functions will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
