KEY TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

  1. Manage end-to-end data management processes, including data acquisition, integration, quality assurance, governance, and reporting.
  2. Develop and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  3. Manage initiatives on data management with other agencies and national-level committee.
  4. Oversee the design and operation of data systems such as databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to support organizational needs.
  5. Conduct and support data analysis activities, including statistical analysis and data visualization, to provide insights for decision-making.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective, data-driven solutions.
  7. Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and agencies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data-related initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS (Minimum)

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Economy, Statistics, Computer Science or appropriate field of study
  2. Minimum 5 years' of working experience in data management/ research
  3. Strong knowledge of data management principles, techniques, and best practices
  4. Experience with data management and analysis tools and technologies, such as databases, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) data warehouse, statistical software and data governance frameworks. programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  6. Proficiency in report writing and presentation.

SKILLS (Technical knowledge and expertise)

Certification in relevant areas, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) is an added advantage.
