FINTECH - Market (Merchant Acquisition, Banking & Card Issuance) Development
• Responsible for qualifying inbound leads and generating new sales opportunities through calls, emails, direct sales and referrals in the group's merchant acquisition sector.
• Responsible for expanding and maintaining partnerships and client resources in the cross-border payment sector; including e-commerce platforms, cross-border merchants, financial institutions, and payment partners, etc.
• Responsible and actively expand the group's card issuance business sector.
• Research, identify and evaluate target markets and potential customers who can benefit from cross-border payment solutions. Develop and implement strategies to approach and engage these prospects.
Business Collaboration
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through diverse lead generation methods, including cold calling, networking, and participation in industry events. Establish and sustain a healthy sales pipeline to drive revenue growth.
• Deliver impactful business presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our payment solutions. Customize presentations to align with the unique needs and challenges of each potential client.
• Drive contract negotiations and collaborate with prospective merchants to finalize agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Initiate and follow through the entire customer on-boarding process.
Client Management
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and long-term partnerships. Provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and encourage retention.
• Communicate with clients regularly to understand their pain points and requirements, assisting the company in optimizing products and services.
Industry Analysis
• Keep abreast of industry or related industries' developments, competitor activities, and advancements in cross-border payment technologies. Offer insights and feedback to internal teams to refine and enhance product offerings and strategies.
• Submit regular market research reports and propose business recommendations.
Internal Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, operations, compliance, customer success teams to ensure smooth project implementation and to continuously enhance the group's service quality.
• Assist the group in building its brand and image.
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, International Trade, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
Work Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales in the payments, fintech, or cross-border e-commerce industries.
• Proven experience in collaborating with B2B clients or large enterprise customers.
Skill Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of cross-border payment products and solutions, with a strong understanding of industry regulations, processes, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent business negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, with strong client management capabilities.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Other Requirements:
• Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for the cross-border payments and fintech industries, with a willingness to take on challenges and drive industry growth.
• Willing to travel to Singapore periodically
