Our client is a leading retail MNC in Southeast Asia (health, beauty, and supermarket sectors), focusing on modernizing their data ecosystem and leveraging AI/ML to drive business insights.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on
Data Delivery Team Lead
to spearhead enterprise-grade
Data & AI solutions
. You will bridge business requirements and technical execution, lead a team of engineers, and mentor the team to deliver high-quality, reliable data platforms. You will focus on
Google Cloud (GCP) modern data stack
, migrating legacy Azure systems, and enabling analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data platform projects.
  • Design scalable, secure, cost-optimized solutions using
    GCP services
    (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer, Dataform, Cloud Functions).
  • Drive
    data modeling, governance, and quality
    practices.
  • Build, monitor, and optimize
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    and orchestration workflows.
  • Collaborate with BI teams (
    Tableau, MicroStrategy
    ) for reporting and self-service analytics.
  • Manage project timelines, scope, and risks.
  • Coach and mentor data engineers and analysts.
  • Act as primary technical liaison with business stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with
    GCP BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, Dataform, Cloud Functions
    .
  • Minimal 8–10 years overall experience
    di data engineering / analytics / platform.

    3–5 years in leadership / technical lead capacity
    (manage delivery, architecture, mentoring).
  • Experience with
    Azure Data Stack
    (Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks) for migration projects.
  • Strong
    data modeling and pipeline development
    skills.
  • Experience with
    Airflow/Composer
    for orchestration.
  • Familiarity with
    Tableau or MicroStrategy
    .
  • Experience with
    retail data
    (sales, inventory, customer analytics).
  • Proven track record as a
    Technical Lead/Delivery Lead
    .
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
