The Business Development Manager builds strong relationships with clients, explores new market opportunities, and collaborates with internal teams to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Strategy
· Develop and execute business plans to expand the vegetarian factory's market share domestically and internationally.
· Identify new business opportunities, including B2B (restaurants, hotels, retailers) and B2C (e-commerce, direct sales) channels.
· Conduct market analysis to understand trends in vegetarian, vegan, and plant-based food markets.
· Collaborate with management to define pricing, product, and promotional strategies.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
· Achieve sales targets and profitability goals set by management.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and food service partners.
· Negotiate and close commercial agreements with retailers, supermarkets, and F&B chains.
· Monitor customer satisfaction and address feedback to improve retention and loyalty.
3. Marketing & Brand Development
· Work with marketing teams to plan and implement campaigns promoting the factory's vegetarian products.
· Represent the company at food fairs, trade shows, and exhibitions to strengthen brand presence.
· Support the creation of marketing materials, product catalogs, and digital marketing content.
· Develop partnerships and collaborations with vegetarian influencers, associations, and communities.
4. Product & Market Innovation
· Provide feedback to the production and R&D teams on market demand, product trends, and customer feedback.
· Assist in the launch of new vegetarian or plant-based products.
· Conduct competitor analysis to ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage.
5. Operations & Reporting
· Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
· Manage budgets for business development and marketing activities.
· Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure product availability aligns with market demand.
· Ensure all business activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and food industry regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4, RM8,000.00 per month
